The 5th “North American Spelling Championship Challenge” competition was successfully held

On July 8th, 2019. The 5th “North American Spelling Championship Challenge” competition held opening ceremony at Towson University.

This competition attracted a large number of students to participate actively, and a team came from China. The organizer NASCC has invited many spelling masters and previous champions as coaches and referees. And also invited many famous people to give a keynotes speech. For example, Founder and CEO of TransPacific Communications, Ms. Dottie Li; And Dean Zhang, the Chairman of Spelling Bee of China (SPBCN) and NASCC, etc. The outstanding winners from previous competitions took the stage to share experiences and stories. The organizer NASCC also prepared the show for the audience. According to the schedule, the champion of this competition will be produced on July 14th, so stay tuned!

The atmosphere at the competition was fierce, and the spellers were of a high standard and confidence. After more than two hours of fierce battles, the winners of each group were decided. The Indian spelling master Navneeth Murali won the championship. He was won a $2,000 bonus and the qualification to go to China to talk part in competition in August.
